Habitat: Enormous vines climb to the canopy of the tallest forest trees as well as completely covering disturbed hillsides, landslip areas. Lowland and steep hillsides.

Voucher comment: The most serious weed in Kosrae. Referred to locally as Merremia peltata but BMW has observed another similar vine with pale creamy flowers. Venation on those leaves look more deeply indented above.
