PLDesc: Large rhizomatous clump with stems to over 2 m long and smelling of ginger. Fruiting spikes erect. Capsules 1.5-2.5 cm long; valves very hard, opening widely to reveal bright orange inner wall. Seeds glossy scarlet. From same clump as Sykes 3111/CI. Fruit
