Gardner, D. E. . Unpublished: Ecology of Dodonaea yellows: Unpublished
ABSTRACT
Resource management expressed more interest in the long-range effects of Dodonaea yellows disease would be in the ecosystem than in understanding the cause of the disease itself. The ability of the disease to kill affected plants led to questions as to whether Dodonaea would be recruited as a vegetation replacement or whether other native plants, or aliens, would occupy sites previously colonized by Dodonaea. My assistant Dina Kageler initiated a long-term field study to identify and determine the fate of Dodonaea seedlings over time. She kept records of seedling measurements for several months, after which her employment status changed and the project was discontinued. The records are no longer available.
