Gardner, D. E. . Unpublished: Soil water repellency. Mississippi NPS Science Center. Unpublished

ABSTRACT
In conjunction with a study to determine the effects of campfires in causing water repellency in soil, two soil-inhabiting fungi, Aspergillus sydowi and Penicillium nigricans, were found to impart these qualities to the soils in which they were found. Subsequent studies were carried out with these fungi, but were not published.
