Description:  "This often spindly tree has leaves clustered at the branch ends, 15-25 leaflets per leaf, the lower ones the smallest, increasing in size tward the apex; larger, terminal inflorescences that are several time branched, with many small flowers; and fruit that is black when ripe." (A Tropical Garden Flora, p. 509)

Habitat/ecology:  For cultivation in Hawaii, "[i]t has been suggested for local xeriscape use as a 'less thirsty' plant." (A Tropical Garden Flora, p. 509)
