A PIER DVD is available.
Many places in the Pacific region (and elsewhere) have slow, unreliable or expensive internet service. The same information that is on the PIER web site is also available on a DVD for use in these situations. The DVD is also useful for field work away from the office. The DVD is free of charge for users in the Pacific region and others with poor internet service. Just send a request, including your name and mailing address, to pier@hear.org. While the DVD will work on any computer with a web browser and a DVD reader and will provide access to the basic species information, the many linkages to other Internet sites from the DVD will not work unless you have Internet access. Also, always check PIER on the Internet for the most up-to-date information.
