Paspalum vaginatum
A carpet of this hardy, creeping perennial grass at the upper end of the brackish lagoon on the Haga Haga River at Haga Haga, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. This species is confined to saline soils at the coast, often on the sea shore. A good sand binder in coastal situations.
