Ipomoea alba
A sub-woody, glabrous, annual or perennial climber with milky latex. The leaves are heart-shaped and the flowers white, often banded with green. A species from South America, cultivated as an ornamental in South Africa. A serious invader of forest, woodland, wasteland, riverbanks, wetlands and coastal dunes. It is a declared invader in the Northern Provinces of South Africa.
