Eragrostis curvula

Weeping love grass - a wiry, densely tufted, perennial grass with unbranched culms. Inflorescence an open, spreading, much branched panicle. Hanging, long, filiform and rolled leaf blades. Common in higher rainfall areas of South Africa, often in disturbed or overgrazed grassland. Widely cultivated as a pasture and for erosion control.
