Anthocleista grandiflora

A young forest fever tree - becomes a tall deciduous tree with a straight clean trunk and sparsely branched, rounded crown. Occurs in forests and riverine bush, usually in moist places, in Mpumalanga and Northern Province in South Africa. Here cultivated in the Lowveld National Botanical Garden, Nelspruit.
