Target species: Miconia (Miconia calvescens)

The October worktrip was a nice gathering of familiar faces. The volunteers were able to survey a majority of the area in Kaalaea valley, over variable topography. No miconia was found. This miconia search was part of efforts to establish the northernmost extent of miconia invasion on Oahu. Thank you to all those who helped to make this trip a success.
