OED survey species list

OISC's Oahu Early Detection (OED) project has compiled the OED survey species list Excel spreadsheet icon, which is now available online. Species on this list have been found on Oahu during surveys of nurseries, botanical gardens, etc. Research in our herbarium resources indicates these species have invasive potential and limited distributions on Oahu. The information in this list includes data from the Global Compendium of Weeds and other internet resources (via Google), as well as the Bishop Museum herbarium resources used to evaluate each species' weediness and distribution. Although these resources are useful, they usually do not reflect the actual distribution of a species, nor do they directly predict species' behavior in the field.
