The spring public presentation will be Friday 24 February 2012. Cathy Davenport will speak on Cordage Comparisons - Hau, Niu, Olona As usual, the meeting will be at the Tavares Community Center Poolside Meeting Room. The talk will begin at 7PM. The NHPS annual meeting will take place before the meeting, at 6:30PM. Please use the contact link under Board Meetings for more information. See also the NHPS service trip schedule. Board meetings take place the 2nd Friday of the month, from 6-8PM, but not every month. Members and prospective members are welcome. Please contact us for the date & location of the next meeting. Every Thursday morning, there is a work party at Kanaha Pond. Contact Lorna Hazen if you are interested in participating. The 2nd Thursday, rather than Kanaha Pond, will be a work morning at the Kahului Library Courtyard, if needed. Contact Lorna Hazen to make sure there's work scheduled that month. Many Sundays, there's another work party at Haiku School, tending the native plantings there. Contact Becky Lau if you are interested in participating. |
