Other names:Victorian laurel, orange pittosporum
Description: Similar to P. pentandrum but leaves wider, thicker, and with wavy margins; flowers and fruits larger; fruits unstalked.
Risk areas: Moist forest up to 4000 ft. elevation.
WARNING:Several species of Pittosporum have proven invasive elsewhere and some are beginning to spread in Hawaii. Exotic species of this genus may potentially compete or interbreed with endemic Hawaiian species of the genus. All foreign species of Pittosporum should be avoided for horticulture in Hawaii.
