Description: Rooted aquatic plants with 5-16" floating, round or elliptic leaves with a cleft on one side; the white or colored 2-7" flowers are often fragrant and are floating or borne above water.
Risk areas: Freshwater lakes, ponds, ditches, canals, marshes, and slow-moving streams.
WARNING:Water lilies spread aggressively once introduced into freshwater bodies. Spread is by seed, rhizome, or plantlets formed on adult plants.
