Description: | Succulent perennial herb 1-6' tall with hollow stems, 2-8" leaves, and 1" red and yellow pendant flowers hanging from 1-3" lateral branches. |
Risk areas: | Dry to moist areas at low (0-2000 ft.) elevations. |
WARNING: | WARNING! Several relatives of Chandelier plant, as well as other succulent species, have proven invasive in Hawaii or elsewhere because their seeds are dispersed either by birds or by wind, or because they can easily grow from broken fragments of stems and leaves. |
