Description: Thornless shrub up to 15" tall, with arching branches, alternate 1/2-1" leaves that are white-hairy underneath, 1/2" white flowers, and 1/4" dull red fruits.
Risk areas: Moist and wet forest areas, roadsides, openings, at 3000-6500 ft. elevation.
WARNING:All cotoneasters have colorful fruits attractive to birds and, hence, are liable to easy spread and invasiveness. Prudent horticulture would caution against their use.
