Description: Prickly herb with stiffly erect or sprawling stems 1-6' long, small linear leaves 2-5 per cluster, tiny white flowers, and 1/4-1/2" red berries.
Risk areas: Dry to moist forests and openings
WARNING:Several species of the genus Asparagus have proven invasive elsewhere. All members of this genus should be approached with caution or avoided in horticulture.
