Habit:  herb

Description:  "Plants 3-13 dm tall.  Leaves deltate, leaflets ovate-lanceolate to linear, 2-5 cm long, 1-4 cm wide, distinct, toothed or lobed, petioles 1-2 dm long.  Peduncles 3-8 cm long, involucre of a few inconspicuous, entire bracts or absent, rays 10-20, subequal to unequal, 1-5 cm long, pedicels 2-5 mm long, involucel of 5-6 linear, acute, entire bractlets shorter than the flowers.  Fruit ovoid-oblong, 2-4 mm long, 1-3 mm wide, mericarps readily separating"  (Wagner et al., 1999; p. 207).

Habitat/ecology:  In Hawai‘i, "cultivated and naturalized" (Wagner et al., 1999; p. 207).
