Goodies available at the MonDB Administrators' Workshop
Be sure to ASK at the Workshop about any of these items that look interesting:
- SAVEPDOX program - aids in system recovery in case PDOXWIN crashes.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader v.3 - allows viewing of Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.PDF) files; much useful info is available on the web in this de facto standard format, including some info at the HEAR website.
- The latest version of a web browser - Netscape v.4 is recommended; see PT for details.
- TIP! Don't underestimate the utility of the web for PDOXWIN technical information! Try searching for problem topics on the internet! There's lots of PDOXWIN technical info available. (Sometimes it helps--with this and other things as well--to understand how to use the advanced features of your favorite search engine. Ask PT for a quick tutorial on AltaVista's advanced search capabilities & how to optimize your searches!)
