This site is the entry point for information on alien species distributions in Hawaii compiled by the Hawaiian Ecosystems at Risk (HEAR) Project. Information is updated frequently, so check back often.

Distribution maps are available for selected PLANTS, VERTEBRATES, and INVERTEBRATES.

If you have additional distribution information that you'd be willing to to submit, please email the Hawaii Ecosystems at Risk project or send us the information at the above address (e.g. locations on topo maps, GPS coordinates, field notes, etc.). If you do not have materials/information with better resolution, you may use our  blank maps of the Hawaiian Islands for submission of information.

If you would be willing to keep us apprised of updated information gathered by you or your organization, please email the Hawaii Ecosystems at Risk project and let us know that we can count on you!
